Parks, Gardens and open spaces

Gladstone Gardens

A pleasant green space in the heart of Barry, Gladstone Gardens are named after William Gladstone the four-times Liberal Prime Minister.

When the National Eisteddfod of Wales came to Barry in 1968, Gladstone Gardens were used for the opening ceremony.

In 2011, the Proclamation Ceremony of the Vale of Glamorgan National Eisteddfod 2012 was held in the Gardens.
