About
Valeways Millennium Heritage Trail 25th Anniversary
Walk all, or some of, the MHT on Saturdays between 26th April and 2nd August 2025. Walk leaders and transport will be provided. The Millennium Heritage Trail covers a distance of over 100km. The trail takes in sweeping panoramic vistas at its northern edge, through a variety of beautiful landscapes further south, before finally meeting the sea at the southern-most point of Wales.
The trail is split into 16 sections, each of which can be walked within a few hours. The whole route is shown on the O.S. Explorer 151 “Cardiff & Bridgend” map. The surroundings are diverse, often spectacular and steeped in history. The Trail aims to give you a taste of one of Wales' best kept secrets and will hopefully inspire you to explore, enjoy and better understand your surroundings.
This celebration provides the opportunity to walk the whole trail or part in shorter sections (see this and the Short Walks program below).

Valeways is a volunteer-run charity in the Vale of Glamorgan with the aim to:
