This nine-hole course is part of the RAF base at St Athan in Barry. It was founded in 1902 and these days is used by both RAF and Army personnel, the latter having a presence on the base as well now.
It is also open to civilians, though, and the parkland course is a pleasant place indeed to spend a morning or afternoon.
The tree-lined course is looked after extremely well and you shouldn't be disappointed with a visit here.
