The Knap Lake and Gardens, Barry

With its flower-filled borders, the gardens and lake are a great place for families to walk and picnic.

The focal point of the garden is a harp-shaped lake with ducks and swans.  Walk through the gardens to the Knap beach (known locally as the Pebbles) or Watchtower Bay.   Top off your visit with a visit to one of the lovely coffee shops and eateries nearby.   It is a favourite place for model boat enthusiasts on weekends.

Please note dogs must be kept on leads as there are swans and ducks in the park.
