Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen
Forage Farm Shop & Kitchen, three times Welsh Farm Shop of the Year winner, is based on Penllyn Estate and has an on-site butchery and farm shop, restaurant, takeaway and events business.
Meat, eggs, rapeseed oil and honey are produced on Penllyn Estate Farm with the remainder provided by over 180 suppliers (over 80% Welsh).
The award-winning restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch (and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays) has a farm to fork ethos making delicious, seasonal food. The Sunday Roast is a must try and has been voted in the top 50 in the UK by The Good Food Guide. For those on the hoof, delicious coffee and hot drinks are available to takeaway and there is a garden menu where customers can order pizzas and burgers from the kitchen’s hatch to enjoy on the lawn. The lawn has beautiful views overlooking the Thaw valley with both outdoor and indoor seating. Children will also love the handcrafted playground.
The outdoor space is also used for events throughout the year (Easter, live music, adventure racing and the popular Christmas experience) with the pumpkin extravaganza just walking distance in a nearby field.
The beautiful Forage building has won awards for its architectural design and has become a central hub in the local community.
