Glyndwr Vineyard Ltd

Glyndwr Vineyard (GV) is the oldest established vineyard in Wales.  The current owners pioneered the revival of viticulture in Wales, establishing Glyndwr vineyard in 1979, making it the oldest family estate in Wales.  

The vineyard, products and experiences are rooted in community, shaped by the landscape and honed by the Welsh culture and language.  With the experience of over 40 years playing an important role in the current success and reputation of the vineyard, the owners have built up an extensive network of outlets throughout Wales including Waitrose, The Celtic Manor resort, Glen-yr-Afon Hotel and numberous family run deli's from St Davids in Pembrokeshire to Wally's in Cardiff.  

Now, two family generations are working together, blending the vineyards heritage with innovation.  The family are passionate about their home, the surroundings and the important bond between nature and the wine produced.  Currently, the busiess is made up of several parts; self catering accomodation, the vineyard, wines sales and events such as wine tours, weddings and private functions.
